We are pleased to introduce two new products to our existing range:
NEW - ClimaMix - Air Recirculation Unit
In these times of high energy costs, Climatec have designed a new fan unit which is used to recirculate the air in the shed with the aim of lowering heating fuel bills.
In order for poultry to grow well, it is vital that the environment is correctly maintained - particularly during the initial growing period. With the high cost of energy, the temptation is to reduce minimum ventilation to a point where oxygen levels become insuffiicient.
This new recirculation system enables the desired level of freash air to be achieved - replacing both the first stage ventilation and the standard inlet systems.
All incoming oxygen-laden air is instantly mixed with the warmer air in the house and discharged at high speed throughout the building, ensuring a fresh warm air supply to all the chicks at minimum cost.
The fan itself is controlled by the ClimaMix unit to provide enough air circulation and sufficient oxygen for minimum ventilation and the unit also has a controlled inlet to adjust the amount of oxygenated air allowed into the building.
A number of ClimaMix units would be fitted to ensure even air distribution - thus, in combination with a couple of speed/time controlled fans, this new system will prevent cold damp air falling onto the litter.

ClimaMix for Happy Chix
This is the expanded version of the CLT2 digital inlet position control, providing simple operation of opening and closing inlets in stages.
The CLT5 can be used to control up to two inlet geardrives in one of three ways:
- 12 stage position control
- 6 independant stages of position control per geardrive
- 0-10 volt input control
The large, easy to read display can show:
- Input condition
- Geardrive position
With easy feedback potentiometer calibration procedure and easy adjustment of all settings, this versatile and flexible unit can be connected to any suitable geardrive controller.

Fan Maintenance
It is vitally important to keep your fans in good condition - check that your fans do not have worn-out bearings and are able to operate at their peak efficiency. With Maxifans don't forget to also check the centrifugal unit and louvre mechanism - these parts can often be repaired before it is too late - although if there are several worn out parts, it can be cheaper to fit a new fan.

We have been supplying fans for 27 years and can give advice on repair or replacement and give advise on the best fan to suit your application.
Don't forget that following every washout, at turnaround, to run both you normal fans and maxifans for about an hour afterwards - this helps to prolong the life of the fans an reduce problems during the crop. It also gives you the opportunity to ensure that all the fans operate as expected before placing birds.
