Newsletter August 2008

Poultry Fair

Our return to the Poultry Fair was very successful and it was exciting to present the Pola/Climatec range.

For those of you who visited our stand, a big thank you for your support.

If you didn't manage to meet up with us, please remember to give us a call next time you require equipment. Our advise and technical support is still free.

CLIMATEC WITH POLA

It is now over 18 months since the decision was taken to concentrate our efforts on the Pola/Climatec range and we have already supplied in excess of 60 HX Genius computers. Sales of the HP & HC digital thermostats also continue to increase.

Remember, if it's a Pola control, Climatec can supply it.

NEW CLT4

Air Pressure Control joins the DIGITAL age

For some time we have been considering a replacement for the well respected Climatec Air Pressure Control, designed over 20 years ago it has come to the end of production.

Armed with our wish list and existing parameters, Richard & Andrew visited POLA in June and after 2 days Hard Work !! our new baby was conceived, it was a fairly short gestation and the first samples arrived at the end of July before POLA's summer shut down.

Then followed extensive testing, culminating in the installation of 2 systems at the end of August. We will also offer an upgrade kit for existing APC's.

YET MORE PRICE RISES IN 2008

With the massive increases in the cost of steel & copper, Ziehl have been forced to increase fan prices by a further 6% for all orders from September 1st. We are constantly monitoring costs of our imported goods, thankfully the pound seems fairly stable but remains weak.

TECH TIPS AUGUST 2008

Don't neglect your big fans now the summer is over, did we have one?

Don't fall into the trap of forgetting about your big fans until next summer.

Get into the habit of running the big fans for at least 20 minutes every time you wash out. This gives the motor a chance to dry out and ensures any problems with worn out bearings, centrifugal unit or louvre mechanism can be repaired before it is too late.

Tip: If there are several worn out parts, it can be cheaper to fit a new fan (we have been supplying these fans for nearly 20 years).

FINALLY
