We are continuing to work to offer you the latest in technology and equipment.
We have a range of energy-saving products - talk to us about how our new energy-saving Air Recirculation Unit can help you, as well as the new CLT4 Digital Air Pressure Inlet Controller, and the CLT5 Dual Inlet Position Controller.
The new Gt Farm does it all - it is the most up-to-date and easiest way of improving performance. The Gt Farm can manage both environmental control and feeding. The house specification – number and type of heaters, flaps, stages, bird weighing, feeding system specifications etc., are set by PC and uploaded to Gt Farm via Gt Farm Lab software. The program settings related to the functioning of the system – temperature setting, relative humidity setting, meal start timing, feeding curves, etc., is carried out directly via the Gt Farm. Contact us for more information on this new system.
The CLT4 Digital Air Pressure Inlet Control supersedes the old analogue units – giving ease of application with a large display, easily adjustable settings and the capability of operating up to 2 inlet drives with position feedback.
The CLT5 Dual Inlet Position Control is an expanded version of the CLT2 providing simpler operation when opening and closing inlets in stages.
The Climamix Air Recirculation Unit is a fan unit which is used to recirculate the air in the shed – enabling the desired level of fresh air to be achieved and replacing both the first stage ventilation and the standard inlet systems, whilst lowering heating fuel bills. A simple way to reduce costs is to make sure your existing equipment is working in the most effective way.
The Climamix unit can also be used simply to distribute air around the building, improving air distribution.
Check your Heaters
If you have swapped to a different style of heating, e.g., brooders to air heating, ensure you adjusted the fan sequence. It is important with air heating to have the heater and fan locations checked to ensure that the warm air from the heater is not going straight out of the building!
Fan Maintenance
It is vitally important that fans are kept in good condition. Check that fans do not have worn-out bearings and are able to operate at their peak efficiency. With Maxifans, it is important to check the centrifugal unit and louvre mechanism – these parts can often be repaired or replaced before it is too late!
We have been supplying fans since 1982 and can give valuable advice on repair or replacement and also give advice on the best fans for your site.
Don’t forget that following every washout at turnaround, to run both normal fans and maxifans for approximately one hour afterwards – this helps to prolong the life of the fans and reduce problems during the crop. It also gives you the opportunity to ensure that fans are operating correctly without birds in the house.
If you would like a service / maintenance visit to check any of your equipment, or would like advice and solutions to any problems you may have, please contact us.
