HX27 Silo & Bird Weighing Controller

The HX27 can control the weight of 2 silos and can accurately dose the daily feed quantity for chickens or turkeys. The HX27 analyses and records daily both the feed consumption and bird growth parameters.

Feed distribution from silos via 2 methods:

• Using loadcells mounted on the silo legs, or
• Volumetric measurement - the HX27 converts the auger working time into Kgs of feed supplied.

The HX27 controls:

• Silo Weight - measurement of up to 2 independant silos via 2 groups of load cells.
• Bird Weight - measurement of up to 2 independant bird weighing plates.
• Feed Lines.
• Water Dosage - monitoring water consumption via water meter.
• Lighting.
• System Alarms.

The main features of the HX27:

• Total control of the weight of 2 silos via load cells or volumetric measurement.
• Total control of 2 weighing plates for single or mixed sex cycles.
• Bird weighing via mutiple and proportional weighing with several daily average weight calculations. Min. & max.  weight range calculated.
• Setting of the growth and feeding curves (2 available) for both pullets and cockerals up to 150 days.
• Feeding curve can be temporarily modified with out altering the set curve.
• Bird numbers management & history.
• Archive up to a maximum of 150 days.
• Connection to all types of load cell.
• Network connection to PC.
• User-friendly setting procedures and clear LCD screen.

Operating Program

Feed can be distributed in one of two ways:

• Limited - Feed distribution at preset times to preset parameters (weight x number of birds). Once the daily amount of feed has been reached feed distribution stops. A maximum of 4 feeding cycles per day.
• Unlimited - No limit of weight or time, the HX27 manages the feed distribution and records all relevant feed weight data.

Lighting Control

Lights can be switched on or off at preset times (maximum 4 cycles per day).

When distribution commences the lights can be switched off whilst the feed system is filled and switched back on when complete.

Feeding Line Control

Auger start up can be delayed after the feed sensor is released to ensure smooth operation.

Automatic Silo Loading

The HX27 can automatically detect when a silo is being loaded up. During this time feed to the lines is paused and continues when loading is completed.

Water Management

Water distribution is programmable and consumption is recorded by water meter. It is possible for the HX27 to provide an alarm for minimum and maximum water consumption.

Bird Weighing

Performed by up to 2 hanging weighing plates to preset data settings.
